Her childhood was a turbulent one. At the age of two Her mother left to protect her from an abusive family. She came back into Pickler's life in 1995 and took custody of her. It didn't take place as expected. At the age of 12, the court gave back Pickler to her grandparents - whom she grew up with. Since she was not with their parents Pickler got too involved in being a parent to her children. Pickler said she had no time for studying, she began to master cooking and wash at a young age. Pickler had been a cheerleader in both middle school and her high school. North Stanly High School graduated in the year 2004. Pickler has also been a beauty pageant contestant.
