Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she coaches athletes. Annie is the only woman to win the CrossFit Games twice. She was a second place finisher in the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is a famous Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter as well as a media star. The media acclaim came from her becoming the first woman who been awarded two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, and in 2017, she was the winner of both the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie together with her siblings and parents were born in Reykjavik Iceland. Being a sports and exercise enthusiast since at an early age, Annie participated in numerous school competitions and received numerous medals. In 2009 she competed as a participant in the very first CrossFit event in California. She performed impressive in those competitions. Annie Thorisdottir's age was 31 years old (as of 2021). She is 5'7" and she weighs approximately 77.5kg. Annie began her CrossFit journey in California in the year 2009. She was successful in her initial competitions, placing at the top of the list. Although she didn't take home any titles and ended this tournament ranked 11th. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Annie placed 2nd at CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's guidance. Following that She took part again in CrossFit Games and took home the gold medal by virtue of her dominant performances. She was the first woman to ever take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie took home her first CrossFit Games because of her remarkable performance. She was the first female athlete who has won two CrossFit Games consecutively. In 2014, she also won a gold medal. In 2021, she won with a bronze. Annie is currently a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was created by Annie. In the last few years, as a well-known athlete Annie has become a celebrity of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance the Nuun Hydration Periodization Sidekick and many others. Additionally, she owns a self-titled Youtube channel which has around a thousand viewers where her diet videos, family and travel videos are shared.
